Abstract:
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is proposing Credentialing Vetting Standards for determining eligibility for Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credentials under HSPD-12, to include adjudicative standards, requirements for suspension or revocation of eligibility for such credentials and requirements for agencies to report all their PIV credentialing determinations to the government-wide central repository. This regulation will meet the mandates of Executive Order 13467, as amended, which names the OPM Director as the Credentialing Executive Agent and prescribes specific responsibilities. |
