Title: Designating National Security Positions  
Abstract:

The Office of Personnel Management intends to modify regulations regarding the designation of national security positions. Duplicative and obsolete sections of 5 CFR part 732 that were superseded by 5 CFR part 1400 will be removed and position designation requirements prescribed by the Securely Expediting Clearances through Reporting Transparency (SECRET) Act of 2018 will be implemented in 5 CFR 1400.
