Title: Elimination of Superfluous Administration, Operation and Maintenance Regulation | |
Abstract:
EDA is eliminating the regulation located at 13 CFR 302.12 which provides that EDA will only award grants if a project will be properly and efficiently administered, operated, and maintained. Not only is this a pre-existing Governmentwide requirement, but section 504 of the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. 3194) already contains this requirement. The regulation adds nothing of value to these pre-existing requirements. |
