Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination for Giraffe 
Abstract:

FWS will make a listing determination, based on the best available scientific and commercial data, for the giraffe under the Endangered Species Act. The giraffe consists of four species: northern giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis), reticulated giraffe (G. reticulata), Masai giraffe (G. tippelskirchi), and southern giraffe (G. giraffa). These species occur in sub-Saharan Africa across 21 countries: Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Rwanda, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
