Title: ●Migratory Bird Permits; Update of the Regulations Concerning Banding and Marking Permits Issued by the U.S. Geological Survey's Bird Banding Lab | |
Abstract:
FWS proposes to revise regulations at 50 CFR 21.70 concerning banding and marking permits for migratory birds issued by the U.S. Geological Survey’s Bird Banding Lab. The proposed rule would codify delegations given under the August 7, 1995, memorandum titled, "Feather and blood sampling by bird banders" and would expand those delegations to other minimally invasive biological samples and procedures related to banding and marking birds. |
