Title: Valles Caldera National Preserve; Hunting | |
Abstract:
This proposed rule would promulgate special regulations for Valles Caldera National Preserve to prohibit hunting and trapping except for elk and turkey hunts allowed under state law. This action is consistent with long-standing and existing state regulations for hunting and trapping in the Preserve. This proposed rule would be informed by civic engagement and public participation opportunities throughout the park planning process. Valles Caldera National Preserve is located in the Jemez Mountains of north-central New Mexico. |
