Title: Managed Access to National Park System Units | |
Abstract:
The National Park Service is proposing regulations clarifying the ability of superintendents to manage visitor access to park areas when necessary to protect resources and promote an enjoyable visitor experience. This rule would provide a level of uniformity for superintendents and regional offices looking to better manage visitation in particular System units while preserving flexibility to adapt and tailor managed access systems to meet the unique and changing needs and characteristics of each situation. |
