Abstract:

The Department of Justice (Department) is planning to amend the regulations governing the Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer (OCAHO) to provide for administrative review of decisions and orders issued by OCAHO Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) in cases arising under section 274B of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA or the Act), as amended, 8 U.S.C. 1324b, including the possibility for review by the Attorney General.
