Title: ●State Implementation Plan Requirements for Emission Reports and Recordkeeping | |
Abstract:
This action is expected to address State Implementation Plan (SIP) requirements for emissions reporting and recordkeeping under 40 CFR 51.211, consistent with Clean Air Act (CAA) applicable requirements. EPA has addressed emissions reporting and recordkeeping requirements in individual SIP actions and with this rulemaking, EPA intends to clarify such requirements consistent with the CAA. Clarifications include what constitutes sufficient reporting for emission limits, standards, or other requirements in state implementation plans (SIPs) required under CAA Section 110. This action will clarify what reporting is necessary to ensure the enforceability of requirements in SIPs which provide for timely attainment and maintenance of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards, protection of visibility, and related purposes. |
