Abstract:

The Commission’s FY 2024 Operating Plan directed CPSC staff to develop a proposed mandatory standard for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries used in micromobility products. Staff is preparing a draft notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) for consideration by the Commission.
