Title: ●Rules of Practice and Procedure, Resolution and Receivership Rules | |
Abstract:
The FDIC is seeking comment on a proposed rule that would provide rules and procedures for FDIC investigations as conservator or receiver, pursuant to its authority under section 11(d) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDI Act). The proposed rule would clarify the authorization process for subpoenas, methods for producing documents in response to administrative subpoenas, conduct of administrative depositions, the non-public nature of subpoenaed testimony and materials, and the FDIC’s use of testimony obtained and material produced in response to subpoenas. |
