Title: ●Federal Travel Regulation (FTR); FTR Case 2025-01, Buyer Broker Compensation Reimbursement | |
Abstract:
The United States General Services Administration is amending the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) to authorize buyer broker fees for authorized relocating employees who use a buyer broker in their real estate process, up to the limits prescribed in statute. This change is due to the announcement from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) that the organization has revised its policies on broker commissions associated with U.S. residential home transactions due to a preliminary settlement agreement related to a range of ongoing litigation. |
