Title: Research Rules of Conduct | |
Abstract:
We propose to revise these regulations that define rules of conduct related to research activities and NARA’s options to enforce those rules. The regulations as currently written have led to misunderstandings and customer complaints; proven difficult for staff to implement; and do not clearly distinguish between research-based conduct issues and conduct issues applicable throughout NARA facilities that are addressed in 36 CFR part 1280. Revisions would also reflect a.) changes to NARA’s organizational structure which have taken place since the regulations were revised in 2004 and 2011, and b.) practical implementation which has evolved over time. |
