Title: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); FAR Case 2023-021, Pay Equity and Transparency in Federal Contracting 
Abstract:

This rule will limit or prohibit contractors and subcontractors from seeking and considering information about job applicants' existing or past compensation when making employment decisions for certain positions. This rule will also require contractors and subcontractors to disclose the compensation to be offered to the hired applicant in job announcements for certain positions. This rule will implement a proposed Governmentwide policy developed by the Administrator for Federal Procurement Policy, pursuant to the Administrator's authority.
