Abstract:
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO or Office) amends the Rules of Practice in Patent Cases to remove provisions that provide for expedited examination of design applications. Removal of the regulations identified in this final rule achieves the objective of dedicating USPTO resources to reduce pendency and inventory of unexamined design applications for all applicants. |
