Title: Commerce Control List Additions and Revisions; Implementation of Controls on Advanced Technologies Consistent With Controls Implemented by International Partners
Abstract:

On November 5, 2024, BIS published the interim final rule (IFR) in which the United States, in coordination with international partners, implemented export controls on several items for national security reasons, such as quantum computers, materials, and related electronic assemblies; additive manufacturing equipment designed to produce metal or metal alloy components; technology for the development or production of ‘coating systems’; software that aids in the reverse engineering of integrated circuits; and technology for the development or production of integrated circuits or devices using Gate all-around Field-Effect Transistor (GAAFET) structures. This final rule responds to public comments received on the IFR.
