Abstract:
The NCUA Board published an advance notice of proposed rulemaking to solicit comments on ways the agency can improve and update its records preservation program regulations and accompanying guidelines. Based on the public comments it received, the Board is considering issuing a proposed rule to update and clarify part 749. The amendments may include removing or streamlining the records retention guidelines and clarifying the requirements for maintaining vital records. |
