Abstract:
12 CFR Section 545.92 requires federally-chartered institutions proposing to establish a branch office or to change the location of a branch office to file an application or notice with the OTS. Section 228 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Improvement Act requires insured thrifts to adopt a policy with respect to branch closings.
