Terms of Clearance:
The agency has satisfied the previous terms of clearance attached to this package. Twelve collection titles were removed from this package. Ten collections were merged with existing titles; one title was tranferred to another clearance package;two titles were removed because they were Fed-to-fed reports which are exempt from the PRA. The majority of the difference in hours associated with this package is due to overestimates of previous burden. In future submissions, the agency should should continue to submit a spreadsheet for Item 12 in the supporting statement which displays how the agency calculated the burden in each collection title. Because many of these forms are used by DOE contractors, the agency should continue to seek information during the renewal process from contractors concerning changes in burden, electronic submission rates, and estimated respondents. Each collection title that is not associated with a form, must document the questions being asked. Specifically, the next submission should document the questions asked related to the FACTS collection.
