Short Statement:
This revision is based on the claims activity involving the mortgage loan servicing of foreclosed mortgage loans after the foreclosure. Due to conditions in the mortgage banking industry, foreclosures, claims, and acquisitions have increased. Additionally, due to the increased popularity of the FHA-insured loan program the loan portfolio has increased over ten times since this PRA was first established three years ago. The number of respondents has also increased in addition to existing respondents becoming more active.
