Abstract:
SECTION 11 (A) OF THE FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT (FLSA) PROVIDES THAT THE SECRETARY, DOL, OR HIS DESIGNEE MAY INVESTIGATE AND GATHER DATA REGARDING WAGES, HOURS, AND OTHER CONDITIONS AND PRACTICES OF EMPLOYMENT IN ANY INDUSTRY SUBJECT TO THE ACT. THE FORM WH-3 IS USED TO OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT ALLEGED VIOLATIONS UNDER THE ACT.
