SECTION 302 (A) REQUIRES EACH OPERATOR OF A MINE TO UNDERTAKE TO CARRY OUT ON A CONTINUING BASIS A PROGRAM TO IMPROVE THE ROOF CONTROL SYSTEMS OF EACH COAL MINE. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED TO MONITOR COMPLIANCE.
