Abstract:
THE NON-SALE DISPOSAL ACT OF JUNE 3, 1978, AND MATERIALS ACT OF JULY 31, 1947, AS ANEMDED, REQUIRED ISSUING FREE USE PERMITS FOR DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS FROM PUBLIC LANDS. FORM IS NECESSARY FOR DISPOSAL OF LOGGING RESIDUES AND OTHER FOREST PRODUCTS THAT HAVE NO COMMERCIAL VALUE. FUEL WOOD FOR INDIVIDUAL HOME USE FROM TERMINATED TIMBER SALE AREAS IS AN EXAMPLE WHERE THIS PERMIT IS HEAVILY USED.
