Abstract:
PURSUANT TO SUBTITLES A AND B OF THE TARIFF ACT OF 1930 AND SECTIONS 201, 203 AND 406 OF THE TRADE ACT OF 1974, THE U.S.I.T.C. MAKES DETERMINATIONS WHETHER OR NOT IMPORTS ARE CAUSING INJURY TO DOMESTIC INDUSTRIES. DATA FROM QUESTIONNAIRES SENT TO PRODUCERS, IMPORTERS AND PURCHASERS PROVIDES PART OF THE STATISTICAL BASE FOR SUCH DETERMINATIONS. INVESTIGATIONS CAN RESULT IN IMPOSITION OF IMPORT DUTIES OR OTHER FORM OF RELIEF TO DOMESTIC INDUSTRY

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
