Abstract:
THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT PROVIDES FOR THE PAYMENT OF BENEFITS TO SURVIVORS OR THE ESTATES OF DECEASED RAILROAD WORKERS. THE APPLICATION WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICANT, OTHER SURVIVORS, PAYMENT OF BURIAL EXPENSES AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE ESTATE. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR PAYMENT OF BENEFITS UNDER THE ACT BECAUSE OF THE EMPLOYEE'S DEATH.
