Abstract:
THE NATION MINING AND MINERALS POLICY ACT OF 1970 (PUBLIC LAW 91-631) MAKES IT INCUMBENT UPON THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR TO BE INFORMED OF AND TO INFORM THE CONGRESS OF DEVELOPMENT IN MINERAL INDUSTRIES INCLUDING POTENTIAL CRISES THEREIN.
