Abstract:
SECTION 6 OF THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT PROVIDES LUMP-SUM BENEFITS FO THE SURVIVORS OR ESTATES OF DECEASED RAILROAD EMPLOYEES. THE APPLICA TION WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT A DECEASED EMPLOYEE, THE APPLICANT, OTHER SURVIVORS, AND BURIAL EXPENSES. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO PAY BENEFITS DUE UNDER THE ACT.
