Abstract:
DATA ARE USED BY THE NATIONAL DRIVER REGISTER (NDR) TO CONDUCT FILE SEARCHES (HS-1047) AND TO RECORD REVOCATION (HS-1046) INFORMATION ON A FILE. IF THE DATA WERE NOT SUPPLIED, NDR COULD NOT PERFORM ITS LEGALL MANDATED FUNCTION (P.L. 89-563) TO ASSIST STATES IN IDENTIFYING AND CONTROLLING DANGEROUS DRIVERS.
