Abstract:
SECTION 6 OF THE RAILROAD UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT AND SECTION 9 OF THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT REQUIRE RAILROAD EMPLOYERS TO REPORT SERVICE MONTHS AND COMPENSATION FOR EACH EMPLOYEE TO THE BOARD AS NEEDED FOR ADMINISTERING THE ACTS. THE NOTICE, WHICH IS PRESCRIBED IN 20CFR 250.2, WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION ON A DECEASED EMPLOYEE'S SERVICE AND COMPENSATION WHILCH WAS NOT REPORTED PRIOR TO THE EMPLOYEE'S DEATH.
