Abstract:
THE HOURS OF SERVICE ACT AS AMENDED, PL 94-348, REQUIRES CARRIERS TO MAINTAIN RECORDS OF EMPLOYEES HOURS OF SERVICE AND TO MAKE MONTHLY REPORTS OF EXCESS SERVICE TO FRA. INFORMATION MAINTAINED AND REPORTED BY CARRIERS WILL SERVE AS A BASIS FOR MONITORING THEIR COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS.
