However FDIC is to review the need, purpose and use of the System in terms of the Federal governments minimum need and is to examine alternative approaches to meeting this need and submit a request for extension or revision of this approval by July 1, 1982. Abstract:
IN ORDER TO FACILITATE FDIC REVIEW OF COMPLIANCE WITH THE FAIR HOUSING LENDING PROSCRIPTIONS OF TITLE VIII OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF L968, INSURED STATE NON-MEMBER COMMERCIAL AND MUTUAL SAVINGS BANKS ARE REQUIRED BY FDIC REGULATIONS TO MAINTAIN VARIOUS DATA ON HOME LOAN APPLICANTS AND INQUIRERS. SELECTED BANKS (BASED PRIMARILY ON THE VOLU OF THEIR MORTGAGE LENDING AND THE NUMBER OF REJECTIONS OF APPLICATIONS MINORITIES AND WOMEN) ARE REQ'D TO SUBMIT DATA COMPUTERIZED ANALYSIS.
