Abstract:
UNDER S 19 OF THE SECURITIES EXCHANGE ACT OF 1934 (THE "ACT") THE COMMISSION MUST MAKE CERTAIN SPECIFIED FINDINGS BEFORE IT CAN APPROVE PROPOSED RULE CHANGES OF SELF-REGULATORY ORGANIZATIONS. RULE 19B-4 AN FORM 19B-4, ADOPTED IN 1975 AND AMENDED IN 1980, ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE THE COMMISSION WITH INFORMATION NECESSARY TO ENABLE IT TO MAKE THE REQUIRED FINDINGS.
