Abstract:
INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 3301 IMPOSES A TAX ON MOST EMPLOYERS BAS ON THE FIRST $6,000 OF ANNUAL WAGES PAID TO EACH EMPLOYEE. IRS USES T INFORMATION TO ENSURE THAT EMPLOYERS HAVE REPORTED AND COMPUTED THE CORRECT FUTA (FEDERAL UNEMPLOYMENT TAX ACT) WAGES AND FUTA TAX.
