THIS REPORT COLLECTS INTEREST RATE INFORMATION ON SELECTED CONSUMER INSTALMENT LOANS FROM A SAMPLE OF MEMBER COMMERCIAL BANKS. INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THIS REPORT IS NEEDED AS PART OF THE ESTIMATION OF CONSUMER AND BUSINESS CREDIT, WHICH IS USED IN GENERAL FINANCIAL ANALYSIS FOR MONETARY POLICY PURPOSES.
