REGULATIONS REQUIRE ALL GRANTEES TO REPORT ON THE STATUS OF FUNDS AND THE PERFORMANCE OF ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED. DATA COLLECTED ARE NEEDED FOR THE PURPOSES OF ACCOUNTING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS AND FOR ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE CARRYING OUT OF STATE PLANS UNDER THE ADULT EDUCATION STATE PROGRAM.
