Abstract:
AUTHORIGY FOR THE FBI TO ADMINISTER THIS PROGRAM IS PROVIDED BY LAW, TITLE 28, SECTION 534, U.S. CODE. THE ENACTMENT OF THE FISCAL YEAR 1979, DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AUTHORIZATION BILL S-3151, PROVIDED FOR THE RECLASSIFICATION OF ARSON AS A NEWLY DEFINED PART I, CRIME; THE DATA IS PUBLISHED FOR USE IN FORMULATING PROGRESS TO REDUCE ARSON OFFENSES.
