Terms of Clearance:
This request for clearance is approved for use through March l984. This should be sufficient time for the Bureau of Customs to complete the 7501 revision process described in the supporting statement attach to the request for approval. OMB expects the Department to make every effort to complete the revision process sufficiently in advance of March l984 so that OMB approval of the revised forms can be sought and obtained in sufficient time to allow for printing and distribution of the revised forms by March 30, l984. Accordingly, and to prevent unnecessary printing of forms which will be obsoleted by the revision, the Department is to assure that the expiration date for this approval is made available to all who may wish to print "private" copies of the form and take every reasonable effort to assure that they print this date on the forms they print. The Department must print the expiratio date on the forms it prints and distributes.
