SECURES INFORMATION AND DATA ON U.S. COMPANIES AT THE TIME THEY ARE ESTABLISHED OR ACQUIRED BY FOREIGN PERSONS, AND INFORMATION ON THE FOREIGN PARENT. CONSISTS OF DATA ON ASSETS AND INCOME, PROPERTY, PLAN AND EQUIPMENT, SOURCE OF FUNDS FOR FINANCING THE INVESTMENT, AND ACRES OF LAND AND MINERAL RIGHTS OWNED. AUTHORIZED BY THE INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT SURVEY ACT OF 1976 (P.L. 94-472). REQUIRED FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT ACCOUNTS OF THE U.S.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
