Abstract:
PURSUANT TO THE TARIFF ACT OF 1930, THE TRADE ACT OF 1974, AND THE AGRICULTURAL ADJUSTMENT ACT, THE COMMISSION DETERMINES WHETHER IMPORTS ARE CAUSING INJURY TO DOMESTIC INDUSTRIES. DATA FROM QUESTIONNAIRE SE TO RESPONDENTS PROVIDE PART OF THE STATISTICAL BASE FOR SUCH DETERMINATINS. INVESTIGATIONS CAN RESULT IN THE IMPOSITION OF IMPORT DUTIES, QUOTAS, OR OTHER FORMS OF RELIEF.
