PROVIDES DATA TO ESTIMATE TOTAL NUMBER OF CATTLE ON FEED BROKEN DOWN BY CLASSES AND WEIGHT GROUPS. ESTIMATES ALSO MADE OF FED CATTLE PLACEMENTS, MARKETINGS AND OTHER DISAPPEARANCE. DATA USED BY LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY TO PROJECT MONTHLY AND QUARTERLY BEEF PRODUCTION.
