THIS FORM SERVES AS A DECLARATION FOR RESIDENTS, NON-RESIDENTS AND MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO ARE ATTEMPTING TO ENTER THEIR PERSONAL AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS FREE OF DUTY. THIS FORM IS APPLICABLE FOR TOOLS OF TRADE AND PROFESSIONAL BOOKS AS WELL. IT IS A RECORDKEEPING REQUIREME PURSUANT TO 19 CFR 162.1C WITH A RETENTION PERIOD OF 5 YEARS FROM DATE OF ENTRY.
