THE BURDEN FOR THIS INFORMATION COLLECTION IS BEING HELD CONSTANT AT 232,000 HOURS. THIS ACTION IS BEING TAKEN BECAUSE THE SUPPORTING STATEMENT INDICATES THAT THE REASON FOR THE REPORTED DECLINE OF 23,000 HOURS RESULTS FROM A LIBERALIZATION OF THE POLICY OF ACCEPTING INFORMAL LESS DETAILED REQUESTS FOR REISSUE." SUCH REQUESTS ALSO HAVE BURDEN ASSOCIATED WITH THEM AND THAT BURDEN SHOULD BE ACCOUNTED FOR. OMB WILL ADJUST THE BURDEN ESTIMATE UPON RECEIPT OF A REVISED ESTIMATE THAT INCLUDES SUCH BURDEN AND EXPLAINS THE BASIS FOR THE ESTIMATES.
