Abstract:
REGULATION 14A SPECIFIES THE INFORMATION REQUIRED TO BE DISCLOSED TO SECURITY HOLDERS TO ENABLE THEM TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS CONCERNI AUTHORIZATION OF PROXIES. THE COMMISSION IS PROPOSING TO AMEND REGULATION 14A BY REQUIRING ISSUERS TO NOTIFY THE COMMISION OF RECORD DATES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE INTERMEDIARIES WITH A CENTRALIZED SOURCE FOR THESE DATES.
