Abstract:
THE MONTHLY WHOLESALE TRADE SURVEY PROVIDES THE ONLY CONTINUING MEASURE OF MONTHLY WHOLESALE SALES, INVENTORY, AND STOCK-SALES RATIOS. THESE DATA ALSO PROVIDE A VALUABLE COMPARISON FOR USE WITH THE 5-YEAR WHOLESALE CENSUS. INFORMATION RECEIVED BY THE BUREAU OF THE CENSUS INDICATES THAT THE DATA HAVE SIGNIFICANT APPLICATION TO THE NEEDS OF THE PUBLIC & OTHER GOV'T AGENCIES. THESE DATA ARE NOT PUBLICLY AVAIL.
