Terms of Clearance:
Approved as revised by the Department to incorporate State option on sampling. The "cost of purchased services" item (relabled as such) is approved on the following conditions: (1) the cost data only be used for gathering clues within a State (at a single point in time or in a trend analysis over several years) for problem identification and technical assistance, (2) the cost data not be used as the only cost input to the average cost to rehabilitate an individual or to cost-benefit analyses, nor for analyses of cost data between States, (3) if the cost data are to be used by the Department in any published reports, language explaining the limitatio of the data shall be reviewed by Education Branch, OMB, and included in the report.
