Abstract:
THE EXPORT SALES REPORTING SYSTEM WAS ESTABLISHED BY SEC. 812 OF THE AGRICULTURAL ACT OF 1970, AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDES FOR MANDATORY REPORTING AND PUBLICATION OF INFORMATION DESIGNED AS AN "EARLY WARNING SYSTEM FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL MARKET PARTICIPANTS, CONSUMERS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ON AN EQUAL BASIS. THE WEEKLY PUBLICATION PROVIDES SUMMARY DATA FOR ALL EXPORT SALES TRANSACTIONS FOR 32 SPECIFI U.S. PRODUCED AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES.
