Abstract:
THESE THREE FORMS ARE USED TO COLLECT STATE AND LOCAL TAX REVENUE DATA THAT FORM THE BASIS OF A QUARTERLY REPORT. THE BUREAU OF ECONOMIC ANALYSIS USES THIS INFORMATION TO FORECAST ECONOMIC INDICATORS. OTHER ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK, THE ADVISORY COMMISSIO ON INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS, PUBLIC INTEREST GROUPS AND STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS USE IF FOR COMPARATIVE PURPOSES OR ECONOMIC RESEARCH
