THE INFORMATION REQUIRED BY PARA. 2673.3 OF THE REGULATION IS NECESSAR BECAUSE, PURSUANT TO STATUTE, THE PBGC HAS DETERMINED THAT THE REPORTI REQUIREMENT IS NEEDED TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF PLAN PARTICIPANTS AND TO PREVENT UNREASONABLE LOSS TO THE MULTIEMPLOYER INSURANCE SYSTEM. TH INFORMATION IS NOT OTHERWISE AVAILABLE TO THE PBGC DURING THE TIME IN WHICH IT IS NEEDED.
