Abstract:
VENTILATION PLAN SUBMISSION AND UPDATE ASSURES A CONTINUING UNDERSTANDING OF POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS AREAS OF AN UNDERGROUND MINE TO THE DISTRICT MANAGER OF MSHA. THE DISTRICT PERSONNEL WILL, THEREFORE, BE ABLE TO RECOMMEND ALTERATIONS TO THE SYSTEM IN RECOGNITION OF A HAZARD, AND WILL BE BETTER ABLE TO RESPOND TO AN EMERGENCY AT THE MINE.
