Abstract:
THE RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENT WILL ENABLE PAYORS TO DETERMINE THE TAXABLE PORTION OF THE DISTRIBUTION. THE INFORMATION REQUIRED TO BE REPORTED WILL BE USED BY RECIPIENTS TO COMPLETE THEIR TAX RETURNS AND BY THE SERVICE TO MATCH REPORTS WITH A TAXPAYER'S TAX RETURN.
